Scholarships
Additional awards and scholarships are given annually at the recital to recognize excellence in our students. $50 Style Scholarships are awarded to one dancer in each class. Also awarded anually are the following recognitions:
Dancer of the Year: $150 scholarships given to one student in each age level who demonstrates excellence in multiple dance styles and techniques.
Rookie of the Year: $250 scholarship given to one male and one female dancer each year who has proven themselves an asset to the studio in their first year of attendance.
Mary Gee Tap Excellence Award: $500 scholarship given to the student showing the most advancement and proficiency in the art of tap dance.
Jessica Gibson Team Spirit Award: $250 scholarship given to the student who demonstrated Teamwork, Loyalty and Dedication to Motion n Dance and the other members of the team.
