Cancellation/Dropping Classes
A drop form must be signed by the parent or guardian in order to drop a class. A $75 cancellation fee will be applied. Tuition will continue to be charged until the form is signed and submitted to the office. Completion of drop process is the only way to be released from your 10 month tuition contract.
Class Placement
Motion n Dance's goal is to build a solid foundation. We care a great deal about motivation and self confidence. Dancers should be challenged, but not overwhelmed. Instructors, along with the director will place dancers based on their abilities and growth. Dancers may be moved to other classes if progression occurs, or if they cannot meet the expectations of the instructor. Any dancer placed in a competition line is expected to compete. They are also required to take a ballet workshop or class unless told otherwise by director.
Private Lessons
Dancers who are on the competition team and who express interest in solos/duos may do so with their instructor. Once agreed upon, a fee of $25 per half hour will be charged. This payment is non-negotiable and all other fees must be up to date. Private technique lessons are available for dancers who desire more one to one instruction. Please check with the office for availability.
Costumes
Costumes range in cost from $70-90. Each class will have a fee applied. Dancers will be measured and an allowance will be given for some growth. Any required alterations will be the parent's responsibility, not MnD.
