Co Owner/Director of Motion N Dance Studio
Staciann was born and raised in Philadelphia. She took her first dance class at the age of 3 years old. Forty years later she continues to educate herself and her team with the highest quality of dance education. She has studied and trained among Philadelphia’s elite instructors and choreographers. Staciann spent many years training under the Philadelphia Civic Ballet Company, where she was the youngest apprentice under Alisha Craig. She was also a company member with the Philadelphia Jr. Waves Dance Troop in the 80s! Staciann spent her high school years at the Private High School for the Performing Arts where she received a scholarship. As a child, Staciann had traveled and performed all over the East Coast and was also featured on several television shows.
Staci became co-owner of Motion N Dance in 2007 with her husband Thomas Marcucci. She took over this previous owned studio (formerly Bobbi G Motion N Dance) with only 67 dancers. Current enrollment continued to increase and by 2015, over 280 dancers call MND home. Staciann has a background in business and finance. She has worked with several businesses in which she has helped turn them around and become profitable. Staci has taught jazz, lyrical, and ballet for over 20 years and has received a number of awards as an instructor of Motion N Dance in Business, Instruction, and Choreography. Staciann was featured in Dance Studio Magazine. She continues to educate herself and her team through seminars and workshops. Dance has always been her passion, which has given her a purpose in life.

Thomas Marcucci was also born and raised in the City of Philadelphia. He is a byproduct of the Catholic School system and a proud graduate of Father Judge High School. In 1995, he met his best friend, Staciann and his life was changed forever when Staciann became Mrs. Marcucci in the summer of 1999.
Thomas has a background in business and leadership. He graduated Summa Cum Laude in both his undergraduate and graduate programs. Thomas earned his M.B.A. from Rosemont College where he was awarded multiple academic awards including Thesis of the Year. He is currently employed as a Senior Manager at SEPTA but also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Rosemont. Thomas is extremely proud of what the studio has become but fully understands its success is due to the efforts of the MND Family (which includes its staff, dancers, parents, grandparents, and guardians).

Artistic Director Motion N Dance/ Innovation Dance Project
Jessica has been a dance educator at Motion N Dance since 2012. She was a trained dancer for over 15 years under the direction of her mother Staciann Marcucci. Jessica has taught many award winning routines and her pieces have been recognized via numerous special judges’ and choreography awards. Jessica began the Innovation Dance Project in 2014. This elite contemporary based company focuses on dancers who wish to receive intense training and choreography in the art of dance. IDP is composed of dancers who travel year-long to a number of conventions and competitions for which they hold multiple regional and national scholarships. Jessica’s choreography was most recently chosen and featured in the 2016 Philadelphia Youth Festival.
Jessica is currently a member of the Dean’s List where she is pursuing her Business Degree. Jessica has been the office manager of MND for the past three years and handles all recital, competition, and charitable events. Jessica was most recently named Assistant Director of Motion N Dance under the direction of her mother and owner Staci Marcucci.

Brittany is a Philadelphia native who started her training as a competitive cheerleader winning several national titles as young as 7 years old. It wasn’t until at the age of 12 that she discovered her love of dance when Brittany joined Motion N’ Dance under the previous director Mary Gee. She then continued her dance education and started training vigorously upon acceptance into Philadelphia’s High School for the Creative and Performing Arts. She furthered her training while she attended the University of the Arts. Brittany started her professional dance career at the age of 16 where she traveled throughout the country in performing in numerous dance companies and organizations. Her talents led her to secure positions throughout the entertainment world including Sea World Parks and Entertainment (“Sesame Place”) and the Reading Phillies Dance Team. Along with choreographing for Motion N’ Dance since 2006, Brittany’s choreography credits also include the Channel 6 ABC Thanksgiving Day Parade, CAPA High School and a number of other local community performances. Some of Brittany’s performing credits include appearances on WPVI/6ABC, TLC, 7ABC (Washington, DC), Telemundo, and CBS3. Currently, Brittany resides in Delaware County and works full-time in Employment Law and Litigation, but her true passion lies within her teaching the children at Motion N’ Dance.

Team member specializing in Tap, Jazz, & Musical Theater
Jaimelynn Curry has been a dance educator at Motion N Dance since 2010. While studying the art of dance under the guidance of her teachers Staciann Marcucci and Jennifer McGranahan, Jaime achieved many awards in her young career. At age 16, she was crowned the title winner at the USTD competition. She was cast in many musicals such as Annie, Crazy for You, and Hairspray. Jaime also participated in the showcase entitled “Shake” which was a benefit to keep the arts alive.
Before her journey with MND, Jaime studied the art of cosmetology, which opened a lot of doors for her both professionally and creatively. She was a hired as a personnel assistant and stylist to Philadelphia’s own singer/songwriter Bianca Ryan, the first winner of the television show, America’s Got Talent. Over the last 6 years as an instructor, Jaime has helped her students achieve a myriad of special judge’s awards and choreography awards in addition to producing a number of award-winning routines.

Team member specializing in Hip-Hop, Pop & Lock, Freestyle
In the past decade Ryheen Thomas has been recognized as the most impressionable dancer to come into the public eyes. Ryheen is a three-time champion at the Apollo in Harlem NY. Ryheen has performed with artist such as 50 Cent, Nina Sky, Amerie, Wayne Wonder and Fat Joe and has participated in many shows and contests both regionally and nationally. Ryheen’s choreography emphasizes to validate hip hop as a true art form. He demonstrates strength in fundamental disciplines of his dance styles. Ryheen teaches all forms of hip hop including popping, locking, breaking, house and urban old school hip hop. He has been employed with Motion N Dance for over 10 years and has choreographed many routines which have won overall awards both regionally and nationally. Ryheen has also won choreography awards for many of his routines. Ryheen is the main instructor of MND’s Master Hip Hop program which continues to grow with many talented young dancers who study hip hop at an intense and challenging rate.
